How long does it take to downsize a family home?
As long as you need. Some families work through a home in a few sessions; others take it slowly over a season. Your Move Manager builds a tailored plan that sets the rhythm — and you can change the pace at any time.
What happens to the things we don't keep?
You choose, item by item. We can coordinate deliveries to family and donation drop-offs, or hold things in climate-controlled storage while you decide. Nothing is donated or discarded without your say-so.
Can you just do the packing?
Yes. Packing help for seniors is available on its own — uniformed, background-checked crews who pack gently and label every box clearly. Start there, and add more help later if you want it.
Do you work with retirement residences and condos?
Yes. We move people into condos, apartments and retirement residences across BC and Alberta. Your Move Manager plans around the building's requirements — elevator bookings, delivery windows, parking — so arrival day goes smoothly.
Downsizing before a move overseas?
Many families downsize first, then ship a smaller household abroad. We can sort and pack here, store what stays, and send the rest overseas.
